Luis Navarro-Tovar serves as the Engineering Manager at IBC Advanced Technologies since September 2015, leading projects focused on the extraction and recovery of rare earth elements and other valuable metals using molecular recognition technology. Notable prior experience includes roles at ASARCO, where Luis became the youngest manager in the company's history, overseeing multiple departments with significant operational budgets. In addition to managerial positions, Luis has contributed as a Guest Lecturer at Universidad Politécnica de la Energía and held various engineering roles throughout a progressive career. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah and a Master of Science in Engineering Technology from West Texas A&M University.
