Maria Oikonomou MBBS, MD, PhDc is a Consultant Obstetrician-Gynaecologist at Group IASO since June 2023, with a strong background in reproductive medicine and IVF from roles at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Homerton University Hospital Foundation Trust. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynecology at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust and various fellowships focused on gynecologic oncology and endocrinology. Maria Oikonomou holds a Master of Science in the pathology of pregnancy from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, where a Doctor of Medicine degree was also earned.
