Dr. Ellen Schmitz-Felten has extensive expertise in occupational safety, currently serving as a Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit at ias-Gruppe since January 2019, with a focus on safety consulting and training for companies. Concurrently, Dr. Schmitz-Felten collaborates with the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) as a Freie Mitarbeiterin, analyzing national occupational safety strategies of EU member states. Additionally, Dr. Schmitz-Felten holds a position as a Referentin at Haus der Technik e. V. since April 2019, specializing in hazard assessment for hazardous materials. Previous experience includes freelance work as a safety expert for Eskorte und Partslife and a scientific position at Kooperationsstelle Hamburg IFE GmbH.
