Anders Sjölund has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Anders started their career in 1987 as a Systems Design Engineer at Telia Promotor AB. Anders then worked as a Senior Consultant at Unilog Systems AB from 1996 to 1999 before founding their own company, Libro ITarkitekt AB, where they served as the CEO and Senior Consultant. Anders also worked as a Senior Consultant at Arete Libro AB and Quaint.

In 2004, Anders joined SEB as the Chief Architect for the Merchant Banking division and later the Group Operations division. During their time at SEB, they were responsible for developing and managing the enterprise architecture framework, IT strategy, and governance work.

From 2008 to 2017, Anders was employed at IAR Systems. Anders initially served as a Section Manager, overseeing multiple development teams and managing the development infrastructure, services, and tools. Later, they were promoted to Lead Engineer, focusing on continuous integration, build/test automation, and agile development processes and tools.

Anders has demonstrated a strong background in software development tools, enterprise architecture, and IT strategy throughout their career.

Anders Sjölund attended Uppsala University from 1983 to 1987, where they studied Computer Science. Anders also obtained a certification as a Certified IT Architect from Dataföreningen Kompetens in 2001.
