Simon Ross, known as "Rossy" (FARRM), has extensive experience in advanced motorcycling and driving training. As the Sole Proprietor of Rossy's Advanced Training since April 2015, Simon customizes sessions based on client needs, combining theoretical and practical components. In addition to this role, Simon serves as an Examiner for IAM RoadSmart and a RoSPA Examiner, assessing aspiring advanced motorcyclists and drivers. Simon is also an active member of the Driving Instructors Association and coordinates Biker Down! workshops in Gloucestershire. As the BikeSafe Coordinator for Gloucestershire Police, Simon facilitates workshops and collaborates with police volunteers for on-road assessments. Previously, Simon held the position of Chief Observer for both Severn Advanced Motorcyclists and Cheltenham and Cotswold Advanced Motorcyclists, focusing on enhancing rider standards. Simon's career began in October 1994 as a Police Officer with Glos Police, culminating in a specialization in road safety and traffic management.
