Robin Gehris has held various roles in the medical field since 2007. Robin began their career as the Chief of Pediatric Dermatology at Children's Dermatology Services in 2007. In 2012, they moved to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, where they served as the Medical Director of Pediatric Teledermatology and Program Director of the Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship. In 2021, they joined Riverchase Dermatology as a Pediatric Dermatologist and Young Adult Dermatologist. Currently, they are the Chief Medical Officer of Clinical Operations at DermatologistOnCall.
Robin Gehris completed their high school education at Lancaster Country Day School in 1989. Robin then attended Duke University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology in 1993. Following this, Gehris attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, graduating with their Doctor of Medicine in 1997. Robin then completed a Pediatrics Residency Program at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in 2000, and was appointed Chief Resident in Pediatrics the following year. Gehris then completed a Dermatology Residency Program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2005, and a Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in 2006.
