Joshua Lane has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Head of Operations and People Transformation at IAG Cargo since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, where they held various positions. These include Industrial Engineer and Production Steering Planner, Assembly Process Leader, Bespoke Manufacturing Project Manager, Process Leader, and Bespoke Manufacturing Graduate. Joshua also had a secondment in BMW Motorrad during their time at BMW Group. Furthermore, Joshua had an industrial placement as a Woodshop Production student at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and served as an Officer Cadet at the Royal Air Force.
Joshua Lane has a diverse and well-rounded education history. Joshua attended Loughborough University from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering BEng (DIS) degree in Manufacturing Engineering. After a brief break, Joshua pursued further education at Cranfield University from 2016 to 2018, where they earned a Master's Degree in Knowledge Management For Innovation.
Before their university education, Joshua attended The Licensed Victualler School from 2004 to 2010. During this time, they completed A Levels and GCSEs in Mathematics, Resistant Materials, and Physics.
In addition to their formal education, Joshua Lane also holds a certification as an IEng MIMechE, awarded by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in August 2017.
