Joseph Wages, Jr. has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Joseph began their career as an Electrician at Multi Craft Contractors in 1991 and worked there until 1996. Joseph then joined the Siloam Springs Electric Department as Chief Electrical Inspector from 1996 to 2012. In 2012, Joseph transitioned to the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI) where they served as Technical Advisor/Education, Codes and Standards Coordinator until 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Digital Education at IAEI starting from October 2020.

Joseph Wages, Jr. attended the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith from 1985 to 1987, where they earned an Associate of Arts degree in Science.
