Michael Weaver is a seasoned professional in the nuclear field, currently serving as a Senior Technology Expert at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) since April 2017, where efforts focus on promoting the safe and peaceful use of nuclear technologies. Weaver's extensive experience at Los Alamos National Laboratory spans from 1986 to the present, highlighting roles such as R&D Engineer 5 and Global Security Training Coordinator, as well as leadership positions including Intelligence, Analysis, and Technology Division Leader and Nuclear Nonproliferation Deputy Division Leader. Education includes both M.S. and B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman, completed in 1986.
