Makeez Hamid has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Makeez began their career as an Underwriter/Administration at Merchant Money Source in 2008, where they prepared files for funding and performed merchant interviews. In 2007, they worked as a Supervisor at Circuit City, where they directed and supervised employees and monitored sales activities. From 2013 to 2016, they served as an Underwriter/Office Manager at Platinum Rapid Funding Group, where they conducted second-level reviews on cash advances, interviewed merchants, and reviewed financial documents. In 2016, they joined iAdvance Now as the Director of Operations, and later moved on to Radium2 Capital Inc. as the VP of Underwriting from 2016 to 2020.

Makeez Hamid attended the New York Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2011, majoring in Computer Science.
