Jonathan (JT) Thomas is a seasoned event management professional with extensive experience in organizing and executing large-scale events. Currently serving as the Manager of Special Events at IAAPA since May 2022, Jonathan brings a wealth of experience from previous roles including Event Manager at the Orange County Convention Center, where responsibilities included overseeing all phases of event operations for one of the largest convention facilities in the U.S. Prior to that, Jonathan worked at The Walt Disney Company for nearly four years as a Sports Event Manager, successfully executing events at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Walt Disney World, where Jonathan managed operations for water parks and coordinated numerous high-profile sporting events. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication from the University of Central Florida.
