Artur Serra is an experienced professional in the field of innovation and technology with a background in academia and project leadership. Currently serving as the Deputy Director at i2CAT Foundation since 2003, Artur has been pivotal in validating new Internet innovation models. As Co-Director of the Catlab project, initiated in 2007, Artur has worked on advancing Open Living Labs in Catalonia, promoting new innovation methodologies to engage public and private sectors. In addition, Artur holds the position of Innovation Director at Citilab, focusing on social innovation initiatives. Artur’s academic contributions include a long-standing role as a research scientist at Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya and prior coordination of the Center for Internet Applications. Artur earned a Ph.D. in Techno-anthropology from Universitat de Barcelona and a Ph.D. in Geography and History from the University of Valencia.
