Matthew Cairns currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer at Algemy Labs and is a founder of Carbon13's Cohort 6, which focuses on climate emergency ventures. In addition, Matthew holds advisory roles at Equilibria Systems and regularly speaks for i-Teams Cambridge. Previous experience includes co-founding a data-driven health app during a stealth mode phase and working as a Commercialisation Associate at Cambridge Enterprise. Earlier roles include serving as an Account Executive at BioStrata and participating in the Origins of Life Computational Project at the University of Cambridge. Matthew holds a Master of Philosophy in Micro and Nano-technology Enterprise from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Strathclyde.
