Judith Lamb is a seasoned research scientist at the Institute of Occupational Medicine, with a career spanning over three decades in health and safety. Starting as an occupational hygienist at MTS Healthcare Ltd from 1991 to 1994, Judith progressed through various roles, including technical officer at Stirling District Council and assistant health and safety advisor at Fife Healthcare NHS Trust. Judith held the position of corporate health and safety advisor at East Lothian Council before becoming head of health and safety and later health and safety advisor at the Scottish Environment Protection Agency from 2003 to 2010. Judith’s academic credentials include a Master of Science in Occupational Hygiene from the University of Aberdeen, a diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management from Glasgow Caledonian University, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Chemistry from The University of Edinburgh.
