Sydney S. is an experienced professional in the fields of birth justice, community consulting, and early childhood education. Currently serving as a Birth Justice Program Associate at I Be Black Girl and a Birth & Postpartum Doula with Kindred Additions Doula Services, Sydney has also founded Generational Strategies Consulting and has been actively involved as a Community Consultant and Trainer with Nebraska Children and Families Foundation since 2017. Previous roles include serving as a Community Breastfeeding Educator at Malone Community Center and a DCCR Community Cafe Collaborative Associate at Nebraska Children's Home Society. With experience as a Program Coordinator and Trainer at Caroles House of Hope and as a Family Support Program Trainer at Saint Francis Ministries, Sydney also worked as an Early Childhood Teacher at Montessori Educational Centers, Inc. Sydney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.
