Robert Zillweger currently serves as I.B. Abel’s Chief Executive Officer. He joined I.B. Abel in 2010 as the Director of Safety & Quality, later moved into a Vice President of Operational Support, and has served as the Chief Operating Officer since 2018. Robert has experience as an IBEW Journeyman Lineman with completion certificates from the Federal Department of Labor, Pennsylvania Department of Labor, and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He is an active partner representing I.B. Abel in the statewide Keystone Utilities Partnership and served as the point of contact to process funding for Statewide Crane Operator Training for eligible participants. Robert is a Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP).
