David Schulz is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in high-performance vehicle development, currently serving as Group Manager at Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center GmbH since June 2017. In this role, David leads three development teams focused on engineering design, alternative drive systems, and high-performance vehicles, overseeing various engineering aspects including suspension, steering, and battery integration. Previously, David held multiple roles at Hyundai, including Senior Engineer and Advanced Engineer, focusing on lightweight technologies and intellectual property. Prior experience at KLK Motorsport GmbH included development engineering for motorsport vehicles, and a diploma thesis at AUDI AG contributed to insights in fiber-reinforced plastics.
