Matthew Bawalan is an experienced Applications Engineer and Software Engineer at Hexagon Purus since September 2019, contributing to software design and troubleshooting for zero-emission hydrogen and electric products. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a campus tour guide at the University of California, Merced from August 2017 to August 2019, where effective communication and customer service were utilized to educate prospective students and their families. Matthew also held a project manager position at Bihai TruckAlert, focusing on project requirements and team progress, and participated in a competitive hackathon, developing a Chinese game. Additionally, experience on the Unmanned Aerial Systems team involved creating solutions for agricultural issues in collaboration with local organizations. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, Merced.
