Diego Carvajal has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Diego started their career in 2010 as a Development of HTML student tool for special materials and nano structures at Universidad Industrial de Santander. Diego then worked as a Production Supervisor at Ingenio Central Tumaco from September 2011 to May 2013, where they assisted the Production manager in implementing process changes and updating operation manuals. From June 2013 to August 2016, Diego worked as a Process Engineer at QUIMPAC S.A., where they used statistical analysis for monitoring and tracking operations and provided guidance for process improvements. Diego then worked as a Laboratory Research Assistant at Universitetet i Sørøst-Norge from March 2017 to August 2018, where they monitored reactors and conducted chemical analysis of sludge and wastewater samples. In 2020, Diego worked as a Project Assistant at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). From February 2021 to January 2022, they worked as a Laboratoringeniør at Båtsfjord laboratorium AS. Diego then joined Kongsberg Automotive as an SQA-Engineer in February 2022, where they worked until June 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Technical Engineer at Hystar from June 2023.

Diego Carvajal completed a Master's Degree in Energy and Environment from the University of South-Eastern Norway from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Process Technology from Universidad Industrial de Santander, which they attended from 2005 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Diego has also obtained certifications in various areas. In December 2018, they obtained a certification in Circular Economy - Sustainable Materials Management from Coursera Course Certificates. Diego also holds certifications in Six Sigma: Define and Measure, Lean Production, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification, and Six Sigma: Analyze, Improve, Control, although the specific details of when and where these certifications were obtained are not provided.
