Michael Soohoo has a diverse work experience. Michael started as a Senator in the Undergraduate Student Government at UMass Boston from June 2018 to June 2019. Simultaneously, they were an Orientation Leader where they helped new students and their families transition smoothly to UMass Boston. In June 2018, they also became an AI Lab Research Assistant, where they assisted professors and graduate students with projects and gained knowledge in machine learning. In 2017, Michael worked as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at the South Shore YMCA until March 2020. Currently, they are working at HYPR | The Passwordless Companyâ„¢ as a Junior Compliance Analyst from May 2021, and they were promoted to Compliance Analyst in February 2023.

Michael Soohoo attended UMass Boston from 2017 to 2021, where they pursued a major in Information Technology. Simultaneously, they also pursued a minor in Computer Science at UMass Boston. In June 2020, Michael obtained a certification in "Google Analytics for Beginners" from Google. Additionally, in July 2020, they completed the AT&T Summer Learning Academy Externship program offered by AT&T.
