Julia Shanu-Wilson is a seasoned expert in scientific communication and biotechnology with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Head of Scientific Communications at Hypha Discovery Ltd since December 2013, Julia oversees all communication aspects of the company's scientific endeavors, particularly in the scalable production of drug metabolites. Prior roles include consultancy at Inspire Biotech, and significant leadership positions at TMO, where Julia managed R&D projects and teams, and at Cubist Pharmaceuticals, leading cross-site teams in drug discovery. Additionally, Julia contributed to innovative drug discovery techniques at Xenova Ltd and conducted post-doctoral research at AgResearch in New Zealand. An academic background includes a Ph.D. in Microbial Biochemistry and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Biochemistry, both from Imperial College London.
