Abhijit Toravi is a highly skilled software engineer with extensive experience in the realm of computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) and control systems development. Currently, as a Staff Software Engineer at Hypertherm since May 2018, Abhijit contributes to the agile scrum team focused on developing core CAM software packages including ProNest and Design2Fab, utilizing C++, C#, VB.NET, and ASP. Prior to this role, Abhijit worked at Addition Manufacturing Technologies from February 2014 to May 2018, where responsibilities included designing user interfaces in VB.NET, developing multithreaded 3D software for tube benders, and creating part program readers and STL file viewers. Abhijit also served as a Senior Research Aide at Stony Brook University in 2013, developing software for kinematic simulations. Abhijit holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
