James Davis, PhD, serves as a faculty member at Louisiana State University, teaching blockchain, entrepreneurship, and data science to graduate and undergraduate students. In addition to their teaching role, James is the Director of the MS in Analytics Program and the Director of the Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute, which focuses on promoting entrepreneurial practices. James is also the Co-Chair of the Healthcare Special Interest Group for the Hyperledger Foundation, a collaborative initiative for advancing blockchain technologies, and a Lecturer for the Young Entrepreneurs Academy of Baton Rouge. James co-founded Relief.health, serving as CTO and utilizing advanced technologies to develop a telemedicine platform. James has held various technology and advisory roles in several organizations, including Peoplenetz, Health Engagements, and Edgen Murray, and has a distinguished military background as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve. James earned a PhD in Information Systems and Decision Science from Louisiana State University, along with additional degrees and certifications from prestigious institutions such as Duke University and Babson College.
