Steven Mar has a strong background in business and marketing. Steven co-founded and served as CEO of Hyperkin Inc, a company specializing in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of video game accessories and consoles. As CEO, they worked with official licensees such as Xbox, Samsung, Capcom, Oculus, and HTC Vive. Prior to that role, they co-founded and served as CEO of DDR Game from 2003 to 2007. Steven also co-owned Kommax Components Inc. from 2002 to 2006. Steven started their career as a Senior Art Director at Kang & Lee Advertising (a division of Young & Rubicam) from 1996 to 2002.

Steven Mar attended California State University, Los Angeles from 1991 to 1994, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Graphic Design. Steven then pursued further education at ArtCenter College of Design from 1997 to 1999, specializing in Graphic Design.
