Dom Allgood has worked in the education sector since 2011. Dom started their career at De Warenne Academy as a Teacher of ICT and Computer Science, where they were experienced at delivering Level 3 BTEC ICT and had sole responsibility for delivering Level 3 Creative Media - Computer Game Development. In 2016, they moved to Trinity School, where they took on the role of Computer Science Subject Leader. In 2019, they joined Workington Academy as Curriculum Leader for Computer Science, ICT and Media. In this role, they were responsible for the delivery of OCR 9-1 GCSE Computer Science, L2 BTEC Creative Media Production, Cambridge Technicals - IT Level 3, Cambridge Technicals - Digital Media Level 3 and OCR A-Level Computer Science. In 2022, they moved to their current role as Curriculum & eLearning Developer at Hyperexponential.

Dom Allgood completed their PGCE Secondary ICT with QTS from the University of Cumbria in 2011. Prior to this, they obtained their Bsc Hons in Computer Science from the University of Chester in 2008.
