Katerina M. has over 8 years of work experience. Katerina began their career in 2013 as an Administration Specialist at Advokatni kancelář Němec, Bláha & Navrátilová, s. r. o. Katerina then worked as an HR Intern at Czech Centres in 2016 and an Assistant to HR Director at Blažek Praha, a.s. in 2015. In 2016, they interned at the Liaison Office of the Free State of Saxony in Prague, where they represented the Free State of Saxony in the Czech Republic, and was involved in administrative work, planning, and organizing events, hostessing, research, PC work, and translating texts and legal documents. In 2018, they worked as an Executive Assistant at the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Berlin and as a Student Intern at Prague European Summit. Katerina also worked as an Operations Executive at Kuoni Destination Management in 2019 and as a Blue Book Trainee at the European Commission in 2019. Most recently, in 2020, they worked as a Policy Officer for emerging technologies in trade with overlap to FDI screening and as a Policy Officer for post-Brexit trade relations (EU Trade Policy Unit) at Ministerstvo průmyslu a obchodu České republiky. Katerina currently works as an Office Manager and Team Assistant (HR/Finance) at Hypatos since 2021.

Katerina M. completed a Bachelor (Bc.) in International Relations - Diplomacy at Prague University of Economics and Business between 2012 and 2015. Katerina then went on to pursue a Master (Mgr.) in International Security Studies at Charles University between 2015 and 2019. During the same period, they also obtained a Master (Ing.) in International Politics and Diplomacy, with a Minor Specialization in English & German, from Prague University of Economics and Business. In 2017, Katerina M. attended the University of Tampere 1925-2018 to pursue Business Studies. Katerina is also currently enrolled in the International Visitor Leadership Program by US Government, a professional exchange program, from 2021. Additionally, Katerina M. has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including Human Resources: Leadership and Strategic Impact, Strategic Human Resources, HR as a Business Partner, Organization Design, Talent Management, Human Resources Foundations, and Understanding Business. Katerina also holds a Youniversity.cz - Dovednosti pro byznys certification from KPMG Czech Republic, as well as a CAE and Goethe Zertifikat C1 certification from Cambridge Assessment English and Goethe-Institut e.V. respectively.
