Felix A. has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Felix started their career in 2007 as a Technician Engineer at Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, where they were trained in handling Outside Broadcast and on-air studio equipment. Felix then went on to work as a Technician Engineer at Ghana Broadcasting Corporation and was responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in the control room and studios. In 2008, they joined Ghana Broadcasting Corporation again as a Technician Engineer, where they assisted in installing equipment during the migration from analog to digital transmission.
In 2009, Felix moved to Millicom Ghana Limited (Tigo) as a Radio Access Engineer, ensuring the adherence to safety practices and relevant operations. Felix later transitioned to the role of Core Network Engineer, where they continued their work until 2014.
Following this, Felix worked at Ericsson as a Core Network Engineer and a NOC Engineer, handling various responsibilities related to network and core infrastructure. In 2015, they joined Airtel Ghana Limited as a NOC Support Engineer, providing support and maintenance for their network operations.
From 2017 to 2018, Felix worked at AirtelTigo Ghana as a Network Support Team Lead, supervising a team and managing network monitoring, responding to customer complaints, and change requests. Most recently, they joined Hyosung Innovue in 2019 as a Field Services Engineer and then advanced to the position of Field Service Team Lead. Here, they supervised a team of field service engineers and managed their workload, while also being responsible for installation, repair, software loading, and maintenance of ATMs and other products in a specified geographical area.
Throughout their career, Felix has demonstrated extensive experience in technical roles and strong leadership skills.
Felix A. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi between 2005 and 2009. In 2018, they pursued a course in Information Technology at edX. Prior to these academic pursuits, Felix attended SUNYANI SENIOR HIGH from 2001 to 2004 and ADVENTIST JUNIOR HIGH from 1997 to 1999.
In addition to their formal education, Felix has obtained various certifications. Felix earned the Google IT Support Certificate from Coursera in April 2022, and the Introduction to Microsoft 365 for IT Pros (2019), Networking Foundations: Network Media (LANs), and Windows 10: Networking certifications from LinkedIn in October 2021. Felix also completed the Introduction to Packet Tracer certification from Cisco in February 2021. Prior to these, Felix obtained the CLD251x: IT Support: Fundamentals and INF246x: Enterprise Security Fundamentals certifications from edX in January and December 2018, respectively. Finally, they obtained the First Aider certification from St John Ambulance in August 2014.
