Jess Stump has an extensive work experience in the insurance industry. They started their career in 1986 by establishing their own company, Spectrum Benefit Group dba Jess Stump & Associates, specializing in employee benefits consulting, life insurance, and disability insurance. They successfully grew their business until it was acquired by Employee Benefit Systems, Inc. in 2000. Jess then managed the acquisition and the merged firm was renamed EBS Insurance Group. They served as the President/Owner of EBS Insurance Group until 2008, retaining over 97% of their clients.

In 2008, Jess joined Gallagher as an Area Executive Vice President, responsible for managing and retaining current client accounts and expanding the client base. In 2011, they were promoted to the role of Area President, continuing their leadership in strategic planning, healthcare cost management, and benefit plan servicing. From 2020 to 2022, Jess served as a Senior Benefit Consultant at Gallagher, working with a service team to provide outstanding service to clients and help them achieve their strategic goals.

Currently, Jess is working as a Client Executive at Hylant, a position they started in August 2022.

Jess Stump completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Indiana University Bloomington from 1974 to 1978. Additionally, Jess pursued further education at The American College, where they obtained a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) certification. The specific dates for this certification are unavailable.
