Jennifer Hamel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jennifer currently serves as a Client Executive at Hylant since November 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Brown and Brown of Detroit from December 2015 to November 2018, where they were responsible for new client sales in small business commercial and personal lines. Before that, Jennifer built their own agency as an Insurance Agent with the Farmers Insurance Group of Companies from January 2010 to December 2015. Jennifer started their career as a Substitute Teacher at Toledo Public Schools from 2001 to 2003. Jennifer also worked at the University of Toledo as an Event Coordinator from 1996 to 2001, initially as a student and then in a full-time position.

Jennifer Hamel attended The University of Toledo from 1996 to 2000. During this time, they pursued studies in Criminal Justice and Counseling.
