Leon Markham has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Leon currently holds the position of Vice President of Business Development at HYLAN, starting in November 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Business Development at UniTek Global Services from June 2018 to November 2020.

Before their time at UniTek, Leon worked at GW Communications, LLC. Leon was the Vice President of Emerging Markets from April 2016 to June 2018, where they were responsible for customer on-boarding, bidding, and RFP research and responses. Leon also led operations in customer training and hand-off while monitoring the new market pipeline.

Leon's experience at GW Communications also includes a role as the Vice President of Construction from September 2015 to April 2016, where they oversaw construction projects. Leon initially joined GW Communications in 2007 as the Director of Construction, focusing on implementing the company into new communications markets and expanding their market share.

Earlier in their career, Leon worked as the Engineering and Construction Manager at OneSource Communications from October 2002 to September 2007. Leon was responsible for design, construction, and implementation of plant infrastructure, as well as providing support for installation and repair tasks.

Leon's professional journey started at CHR Solutions in 1999 as an Inspector. During their tenure, they ensured quality assurance for construction projects, created invoicing and quality control processes for contractor invoices, and managed project documentation.

Prior to CHR Solutions, Leon briefly worked as a Locator at Tumbleweed Boring in 1999, where they gained hands-on experience with locators, backhoes, and bore rigs, fostering a strong desire to learn and expand their knowledge.

Overall, Leon Markham has held various leadership positions and demonstrated expertise in business development, construction management, and operations within the telecommunications industry.

Leon Markham attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks from 1996 to 1998, where they studied Communications and Philosophy. Leon then transferred to the University of Nevada, Reno and studied Philosophy and Criminal Justice from 1998 to 1999. In addition to their educational background, Leon Markham has obtained a certification in Anritsu VSWR/Sweep from Anritsu.
