Matthew Silvia has worked in mechanical engineering since 2011. Matthew began their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at DEKA Research & Development in 2011. That same year, they also worked as a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op at Medica Corporation. In 2013, they worked as a Mechanical Robotics Co-Op at Boston Engineering. In 2014, they returned to Hydroid, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op. Finally, in 2015, they were hired as a Mechanical Engineer at Hydroid, Inc.
Matthew Silvia obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University between 2010 and 2015. In 2014, they obtained a Certified SolidWorks Professional - Mechanical Design certification from Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corp.
