Ian Monteith has worked in various engineering roles since 1986. Ian began their career at International Submarine Engineering as a Project Manager in 1986. In 1996, they moved to Kvaerner Oilfield Products, where they were an R&D Manager. Ian then joined Bluefin Robotics in 1999 as a Program Manager. In 2010, they moved to QinetiQ - Foster Miller as a Project Manager and Principal Engineer. Ian has been with Hydroid Inc. since 2014, where they currently serve as Principal Engineer.

Ian Monteith studied Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Heriot-Watt University.
