Vahe Kharazyan has extensive work experience in the field of power engineering and management consulting. Vahe currently holds the position of Senior Conceptual Engineering Manager at Hydrogenious LOHC Technologies, a role they began in October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Projektleiter at Drees & Sommer from March 2022 to October 2022.

From 2015 to 2021, Vahe worked at Fichtner, where they held various roles including Senior Project Manager and Project Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of management consulting projects in the power engineering domain. Vahe effectively managed project teams, aligned stakeholder expectations, and communicated project requirements.

Before joining Fichtner, Vahe worked at GS E&C as a Mechanical Engineer from 2013 to 2015. Vahe'sresponsibilities included preparing technical sections for proposal engineering, as well as technical alignment and evaluation for ongoing projects.

From 2009 to 2013, Vahe held the position of Head of the Automated Control and Monitoring Department at Yerevan Combined Cycle Power Plant. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring the proper operation of equipment, monitoring plant performance, managing maintenance and repairs, and training staff.

During their early career, Vahe worked part-time as a consultant at Danish Energy Management & Esbensen A/S from 2005 to 2011. Vahe also served as an Energy Expert at PA Consulting Group from 2007 to 2008, where they contributed to the preparation of an Environmental Impact and Feasibility Study for a new Nuclear Power Plant in Armenia.

Vahe Kharazyan completed their Master of Science degree in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy from the University of Minnesota from the years 2002 to 2004. During this time, their field of study focused on induced technological change, renewable energy, energy policy and governance, and resource economics.

Following their master's degree, Kharazyan pursued their doctoral studies at the Energy Research Institute. Vahe obtained their PhD in the field of Cogeneration, completing their degree from 2004 to 2006.
