Annelies Vanderwaeren has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Annelies started their career in 2017 with a student job at Route du Soleil, where they were involved in organizing adventurous travel experiences for youth. In 2018, they joined F10 FinTech Incubator & Accelerator as a Business and Marketing Manager trainee, focusing on promoting the growth of startups in the FinTech, RegTech, and InsurTech industries.
Annelies then transitioned to Microsoft, where they held various positions from 2018 to 2022. Annelies started as a Service Delivery Manager, overseeing the delivery of Microsoft services. Later, they became an Azure Solutions Sales Professional, driving sales for Azure cloud solutions. Subsequently, they took on the role of Services Account Executive, serving as an account manager for strategic customers in the financial sector and guiding them through their digital transformation journeys. Annelies'sfinal role at Microsoft was as a Business Applications Specialist, where they provided expertise in Microsoft business applications.
Currently, Annelies Vanderwaeren is working at Hydrobox as the Head of Sales & New Project Development since September 2022. Additionally, they are a Prince Albert Fund Candidate at Prince Albert Fund (KBF) since August 2022.
Annelies Vanderwaeren's education history begins with their completion of Middelbaar onderwijs at Sint-Aloysiuscollege Ninove from 2008 to 2013, where they studied Latijn-wetenschapppen-wiskunde. Annelies then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Handelsingenieur at KU Leuven from 2013 to 2016. During their undergraduate studies, they also participated in an exchange program at Hanken School of Economics from 2015 to 2016.
Annelies went on to obtain a Master's degree in Business Engineering from KU Leuven, completing their studies from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, they participated in an exchange program at Fudan University in 2017 for further academic exposure.
