Robert Globocki has extensive work experience in the customer service industry. Robert began their career at Ontario Hydro in 1997, where they worked in various roles including Communications Coordinator, Team Lead, Associate, and Customer Service Representative. Robert received recognition for their work and was awarded the President's Award for Excellence in the Workplace in 2000. In 2001, they joined Hydro One and held several positions including Online Communications Coordinator, Senior Products Coordinator, Program Manager, Manager of Customer Care, and Director of Customer Solutions. Robert was responsible for various initiatives such as leading the repatriation of outsourced customer service operations, developing the Get Local program to support local communities, and driving the Get Digital: Customer Transformation Program. In 2019, they became the Vice President of Customer Experience and Billing Operations at Hydro One.
Robert Globocki attended R. H. King Academy from 1988 to 1993 and earned an Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Robert then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Urban and Regional Planning at Ryerson University from 1993 to 1997. Their studies at Ryerson emphasized alternative dispute resolution and usable/user-friendly designs, which culminated in a thesis on the topic. Additionally, it is known that they also spent some time at the Disney Institute, although specific details regarding the duration and course of study are not provided.
