Javier Arias Aguirre is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as a Site Inspection Manager and Customer Operations Manager at Hydro One since January 2019. Prior to this role, Javier worked as an Engineering Consultant at Hatch from May 2011 to August 2020, specializing in overhead power transmission line design and PLS-CADD design. Javier's early career included a position as Ingeniero de Proyectos at Finning South America, where responsibilities included contract management and overseeing the commissioning of a diesel generation plant at the Piuquenes Substation in Chile. Javier holds a degree in Electric Civil Engineering from Universidad de Santiago de Chile, completed in 2009.
