Paul Mercer has extensive experience in the brewery and hospitality industry, currently serving as Operations Manager at Hydes Brewery Ltd since 2007, where responsibilities include overseeing the profitability of the tenanted pub estate. Additionally, Paul has held the position of Tied Trade Director, focusing on the overall profitability of both managed and tenanted estates. Prior to these roles, Paul worked as Operations Manager at Hydes Brewery from 1997 to 2007 and served as Area Manager for Wolverhampton and Dudley Breweries from 1994 to 1997, managing tenanted houses. Paul holds a 2:1 degree in Urban Estates Surveying from Nottingham Trent University, completed in 1990.
