Victoria Sockwell is an experienced professional currently serving as the Manager of Archives and Research at Chicago Black Social Culture Map since November 2023, while also working as the Student Services Coordinator at Hyde Park Art Center since October 2021. Previously, Victoria participated in the Community Research and Data Entry Team for the Chicago Black Social Culture Map, focusing on digitizing and enhancing archival data. Additional roles include serving as an Archivist, Administrative Assistant at Diversity to Inclusion, and Community Coordinator at Chicago South Side. Victoria has also worked as a cannabis content writer, culture writer, and copywriter for various clients.
