Jonathan Castillo is an experienced photographer and educator currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia College Chicago since September 2021 and as a Teaching Artist at the Hyde Park Art Center since September 2019. With a freelance career that began in January 2009, Jonathan has worked as a photo assistant and digital technician for a variety of renowned photographers across multiple genres, including editorial, commercial, and advertising projects. Notably, Jonathan held the position of Curatorial Assistant at the Museum of Contemporary Photography from September 2017 to May 2019 and worked as an E-Commerce Photographer for Tillys from May 2012 to September 2015. Jonathan holds a Master's Degree in MFA Photography from Columbia College Chicago and a Bachelor's Degree in BFA Photography with a Minor in Anthropology from California State University, Long Beach, along with several Associate Degrees in related fields.
