Douglas Canfield is a seasoned Software Engineering Manager at Hycor Biomedical LLC, with a focus on developing and testing PC software for IVD immunoassay instruments since August 2011. Responsibilities include managing software development, regulatory documentation, and maintenance of existing products, while also overseeing a team of contractors and employees. Prior experience includes roles as Sr. Software Architect, Manager of Instrument Engineering at Osmetech Molecular Diagnostics, and Section Manager at Motorola Life Sciences and Clinical Micro Sensors, as well as owning System Integration, which specializes in custom software and hardware integration. Douglas holds an MS in Systems Analysis and a BSME in Manufacturing Engineering from Miami University.
