Justin Smith, CPA, has extensive experience in corporate accounting and auditing, currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Accounting for Hyatt Hotels Corporation since July 2014, and has held various leadership roles in accounting and internal audit within the company. Prior to Hyatt, Justin gained valuable experience at Deloitte from January 2012 to June 2014, specializing in the real estate industry as an Audit Senior, where responsibilities included overseeing audits, mentoring staff, and reviewing SEC filings. Justin started in the accounting field as an Audit Intern and a Tax Intern with notable firms such as Deloitte and BDO USA, LLP, and also had experience as an Internal Auditor at the Chicago Zoological Society. Justin earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Finance from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2011.
