Caitrin D. is an Engineer II at HX5, LLC, since July 2020, specializing in Structural Health Monitoring Systems and leading engineering tasks for the Gateway Lunar Space Station project. Responsibilities include subsystem integration, requirements management, simulation development, and designing digital signal processing algorithms. Additionally, Caitrin serves as the MMOD Impact Detection Lead Analyst for the ISS BEAM Inflatable Module, focusing on micro-meteoroid and orbital debris impact detection. Previously, Caitrin worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of California, San Diego, analyzing cockroach locomotion to enhance bio-inspired robotics, and also participated in a summer research program at Los Alamos National Laboratory, completing a visio-acoustic data fusion project. Caitrin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego.
