Yolanda Yong currently serves as the Head of Renewables & Energy Transition at HWF Partners, a position held since February 2022, where the focus lies on finding insurance solutions in M&A transactions related to renewable energy. Prior to this, Yolanda was a Senior Associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP from June 2015 to January 2022, advising on significant transactions in the renewable energy sector, including acquisitions of onshore wind farms and the establishment of joint ventures for solar and battery projects. Earlier experience includes roles as an Associate at Ashurst, a legal advisor on the West of Duddon Sands windfarm project during a secondment at DONG Energy, and a legal assistant at Interserve. Yolanda's career also features positions as a trainee solicitor at IBM and business developer for Trading for Development, complemented by communications experience at Ruder Finn. Yolanda holds degrees in Law from the University of Cambridge and Utrecht University, as well as a Master of Arts in Fashion Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the London College of Fashion.
