Thaleia Papageorgiou has a diverse work experience in the field of molecular biology and research. Thaleia is currently working as a Research Scientist at hVIVO, where they are responsible for managing and conducting the analytical phase of clinical trials. Prior to this, Thaleia worked at DNA Electronics in various roles, including Associate Scientist II and Associate Scientist I. Thaleia'sresponsibilities in these roles included testing synthetic and library prep materials, investigating target interactions, and liaising with engineering teams for improvement of the NGS platform. Before joining DNA Electronics, they worked as a Senior Research Assistant in Molecular Biology, focusing on the pathogen capture system and testing of lyophilized reagents. Thaleia also has experience as a Research Assistant at Genetic Microdevices, where they contributed to the development and improvement of a Microfluidic Chip. In addition to their scientific roles, they have worked as a Private Tutor in Biology and Chemistry and as a Call Handler/Team Leader at Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation.

From 2004 to 2010, they attended the University of Patras and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology.

In 2011, they achieved a First Certificate in English from The University of Cambridge.

In the same year, they also earned a TOEFL score of 106 out of 120.

Thaleia then pursued a Master's degree in Molecular Genetics at the University of Leicester from 2011 to 2012.

Additionally, in 2011, they obtained an English C2 Mastery Level with a speaking score of 100% and a writing score of 87.5%.

Moreover, in 2012, they completed a Certificate in French Level 3 with an overall grade of Distinction at the University of Leicester.
