Joost Elsenburg is a Partner in Financial Regulatory at HVG Law LLP, part of the global EY Law network, since February 2023. Elsenburg also serves as the Editor for the Tijdschrift voor financieel recht in de praktijk (Financial Law Review) at Sdu since August 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Legal Counsel for Regulatory, Strategy & Funding at ING from September 2021 to February 2023, and Positions at Allen & Overy, including Co-Head of the Financial Regulatory Team from October 2018 to September 2021. Elsenburg's background in capital markets includes management roles at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and earlier positions at Allen & Overy and the Autoriteit Financiële Markten.
