Lakna Siriwardena is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in legal operations and coordination. Currently serving as a Legal Operations Advisor and previously as a Legal Coordinator at Hutt City Council since July 2021, Lakna has also held roles at Adina Thorn Lawyers as a Note taker/ Writer and at UNDP as a Research & Coordination Assistant. Additional experience includes working as a Junior Project Coordinator at IOM - UN Migration Agency and as an Assistant Manager Operations cum Legal Research Analyst at Vezarto Legal Consultants (Pvt) Ltd. Lakna's legal journey commenced with a Summer Legal Internship at FJ&G de Saram and a role as Principal's assistant at Lyceum International Schools. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) from Victoria University of Wellington and dual Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degrees from Staffordshire University and Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT) Sri Lanka.
