Judy Payne serves as the VP of Risk Management and Legal Affairs at Hutson, Inc. since December 2022, overseeing legal affairs for John Deere’s largest dealership with gross sales of $1.36 billion. Previous experience includes a role as Director of Purchasing at Marquette Transportation Company, LLC, managing a $7 million budget and procurement for the company, as well as tenure as Corporate Transaction Attorney at Keuler, Kelly, Hutchins, and Blankenship, LLP, where Judy expedited multimillion-dollar corporate transactions. Additionally, Judy held positions such as Chief Business Officer & Corporate Counsel at Youngblood Excavating & Contracting, LLC, and Associate Attorney at Boehl, Stopher, & Graves, LLP, focusing on legal strategies to minimize liability. Earlier work included a successful law practice and various management roles at Briggs & Stratton, culminating in extensive expertise in corporate governance and risk management. Judy holds a Master of Business Administration from Marquette University, a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from Murray State University, and a Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University School of Law.
