Prior to that, Jennifer served as a Tax Supervisor at White, Nelson & Co., LLP from August 2007 to January 2011. Their responsibilities included reviewing and preparing federal and state income tax returns for corporations, LLCs, partnerships, and individuals. Jennifer also represented clients during IRS and state tax audits and provided bookkeeping assistance.
Jennifer started their career as a Tax Senior at Grant Thornton LLP in August 2002 and worked there until August 2005. In this role, they specialized in preparing and reviewing multi-state income tax and business personal property tax returns. Jennifer also focused on sales and use tax, and provided audit defense and tax planning services to middle market and multi-state companies, resulting in significant savings for clients.
Jennifer Kolterman, CPA, MST completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Accounting at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1997 to 2001. Jennifer continued their education and earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Taxation from DePaul University between 2012 and 2015.
