Liz Gitajn is currently serving as the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) at Husky Technologies since November 2024. Prior to this role, Liz held the position of Senior Vice President Finance & Controller at IMAX from March 2023 to October 2024. Liz's extensive career includes serving as Vice President of Risk Management at Hudbay Minerals Inc. from 2015 to March 2023, where Liz developed and led the enterprise risk management and internal audit programs. Previous experiences also include roles as Corporate Controller at IAMGOLD Corporation, Director Capital Management at Barrick Gold Corporation, and Audit Partner at Pulakos & Alongi, Ltd. With a solid foundation in auditing from Arthur Andersen & Co., Liz Gitajn possesses a robust background in financial reporting and risk management, bolstered by a BA in Accounting and Business Information Systems from UNM Anderson School of Management.
