Imran Khalid, P.Eng., currently serves as the Director of Public Works at the County of Huron, a position held since January 2023, and previously held the role of Manager of Public Works. Prior experience includes serving as Operations Manager at the Village of Point Edward from December 2020 to January 2023 and as Engineering Project Manager at the County of Huron from June 2017 to December 2020. Imran's career also encompasses roles at Golder Associates as Project Manager for Pavement and Materials, at Englobe as an EIT in Pavements & Materials, and as a Construction Inspector at Thermaco Engineering Consultants (1986) Ltd. An internship as a Civil Technician was completed at AECOM in 2009. Imran's academic background includes a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Ryerson University and ongoing studies for a Masters in Public Administration at Western University, anticipated completion in September 2026.
